Replacement chip for HP 9000 (cartridge C8543X).
The HP LaserJet 9000 HP cartridge C4583X (30K) cartridge uses a "chip". After the original toner cartridge has emptied, the cartridge monitor will show "toner low" code will be set to YES on the cartridge chip. Even after the cartridge is refilled, the printer display will still show "Toner Low". In order to overide the "toner low" message, the chip on the cartridge needs to be replaced.
